A two-week tour of Siberian mills and forests is being organised by Canadian-based International Wood Markets Inc.

The tour, from June 22-July 6, involves visits to the Krasnoyarsk, Kodinsk, Bratsk and Irkutsk regions, with an opportunity to meet Russian company owners and senior forestry officials.

International Wood Markets, which provides forest industry intelligence and analysis, says the wood products sector has been dramatically expanding in Siberia and the Russian Far East since the late 1990s.
