SCA Timber Supply has celebrated its first anniversary at its Estruscan Street site in Etruria, Stoke – and business is booming.
In just 12 months the company has brought in new business from both Wickes and Homebase, which means it now services three of the “big four” companies in the DIY sector.
Managing director Rob Simpson said: “In addition, we also supply national and independent chains of builders merchants from our efficient, effective base here at Stoke.”
He said further expansion was planned over the next 12 months.
Andrew Garner, commercial director of SCA‘s UK operations, said increased business had enabled the company to employ a further 29 staff during the year. It had also focused on training, with all 139 staff at the Stoke site having now received induction insight into SCA’s business operations.
