Ruddy Joinery & Fit-Out Specialists has achieved certification across a range of fields in recent months – and more could be on the way.
This month the company was awarded Forest Stewardship Council and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes certification with BM TRADA.
In April it achieved the BM TRADA Q-Mark for fire door manufacture and in March it became ISO 9001:2000 registered, again with BM TRADA.
Now, in a bid to increase the choice of certified timbers available to clients, Ruddy Joinery is targeting the new Forest Products Chain of Custody Certification Scheme, launched by BM TRADA Certifiation last month.
Production director Brian Drane said the company wanted to demonstrate its commitment to quality and the environment to new and potential clients by achieving the Q-Mark and chain of custody certification.
He added: “As a company we are fully aware of our responsibility to the environment and are 100% committed to sourcing more certified products as they come on stream.”
