German panel line manufacturer Dieffenbacher has won a further contract in China, this time to deliver and assemble an MDF line for Hubei Baoyuan Group Co Ltd in Jingmen.
The new Conti-Plant will enable Baoyuan to expand its product range to include high density fibreboard and thin high density fibreboard (THDF) panels with a minimum thickness of 2mm. The plant will be delivered in the final quarter of 2004.
Dieffenbacher has now supplied 13 plants for MDF/THDF production in the rapidly growing Chinese wood products market.
It recently held a three-day seminar in Beijing for all its new customers, covering topics including gluing systems, drying, air grading, CPS press, board handling and hydraulic and electrical systems.
