COFORD, Ireland’s national council for forest research and development, is holding a two day conference at the Tullamore Court Hotel, Co Offaly on September 20-21.
Entitled “Underpinning Industry Development”, the conference will be opened by COFORD chairman David Nevins.
Topics to be covered include new challenges in silviculture, forest biodiversity and water quality, carbon and climate change, optimising the resource – decision support tools, and forest products – the forest as a multiple resource.
