Prefabricated trussed rafters spanning distances from 3-10.5m have been supplied by Solihull-based Wyckham Blackwell Ltd for a new retail and community development in Warwickshire.
Trussed Rafter Association member Wyckham Blackwell is also supplying a number of cut roofs for assembly on site and has fabricated dozens of spandrel panels to complete the party wall construction at roof level.
The company’s technical manager Roderick Williams said the project involved co-operation between all parties to create an economically viable trussed rafter solution.
He added: “The architect has supplied the concept and construction layouts and, using our in-house design and CAD software, we have produced the solution.”
