Finnish Sawmills, an organisation of around 45 independent, family-owned sawmills producing around 2.5 million m3 of timber, held its second annual agents day in Heinola, Finland on September 16.
The objective was to discuss current market conditions and prospects for 2005 and participants included 30 people from eight different countries and representatives from 30 sawmilling companies.
Ian Robinson of Gill & Robinson represented the UK market on the discussion panel.
