Pallet manufacturer the Scott Timber Group has appointed its first regional director having successfully recruited the owner of its latest company acquisition, Stoke-on-Trent-based HS Timber Products Ltd.
David Healings will report direct to managing director John Scott and takes on responsibility for group operations in northern England and Wales. This includes sites at Widnes, Wigan, Burton, Stoke-on-Trent and Flint in Wales.
“Getting David on board is as significant as actually acquiring HS,” said Mr Scott. “He is a real asset and thanks to his years of experience in running his own company he will be able to make a significant contribution to our operations.”
