Sandvik Process Systems is to open a fourth technical test centre due to high demand for system trials.
The centre is scheduled to open in China within the next few months.
Meanwhile, Sandvik’s largest test centre at Fellbach, Germany, recently completed its 100th test in just under 12 months. The centre’s full range of Sandvik steel belt-based processing systems are used by customers to trial products.
Pilot and production scale feasibility studies can be conducted, with Sandvik engineers working with customer technical teams to establish optimum process settings.
Sandvik’s steel belts are used in the production of particleboard, MDF, OSB and LVL.
