A housing development in Ramsgate and an office block in Tonbridge have been clad with Canexel pre-finished cedar woodgrain weatherboarding from Vulcan Cladding Systems.
The engineered timber material is created using premium cedar fibres and a mix of resin, wax and alum, compressed under extreme heat and pressure, and finished with five coats of baked-on acrylic.
The Kent-based manufacturer said the weatherboarding was backed by a 15-year warranty on the face finish and a 25-year warranty on the board substrate.
