A new European quality symbol for laminate flooring has been created – CELQ (Certified European Laminate Quality).
A dozen leading companies in the European laminate flooring sector decided on the quality mark, exclusive for the German market, during an inaugural meeting of a new federation in Düsseldorf on November 16. The federation, also called CELQ, succeeds the Gütegemeinschaft Laminatfußboden.
The symbol, which will represent a valid RAL quality mark from the start of 2005, will be officially launched together with the new federation at Domotex on January 16.
