Geoff Pugh, sales director of Parker Kislingbury died on New Year’s day following a short illness.

“Geoff found out that he had cancer in October and in the weeks that followed he fought the illness bravely and with dignity – and never lost his great sense of humour,” said PK’s managing director Tony James.

“Many members of the trade have a lot to thank Geoff for. He mentored a number of today’s industry leaders, passed his wisdom to management colleagues, and gave strength and support to all around him.

“Everyone who knew Geoff valued his friendship and we will all miss him greatly. He was a special man and has left the hardwood trade a much better place than he found it”.

Mr Pugh’s funeral will take place at 11am on Saturday, January 15 at St Andrew’s Church, Church Lane, Sandford on Thames. His friends in the trade are welcome to attend.
