Chris Sutton, one of James Latham‘s longest serving employees, has been appointed to the company’s group board as an executive director.
Mr Sutton, who has worked for James Latham for over 26 years, retains his current role as group panel products director.
Chairman Roger Latham said: “Chris has played a key role in helping the panel products division achieve the market leading position it enjoys today through a combination of boundless energy, unrelenting dedication and enviable product knowledge, all qualities that will be a real asset to the main board.”
Mr Sutton added: “I joined James Latham in 1978 shortly after the Midlands branch opened and in that time have seen a number of significant and exciting changes, not only here but right across the business.
“And having just acquired FH Thompson’s Gateshead business in the north-east and completed the sale of our Clapton site, the next couple of years promise an even more exciting phase in the company’s history.”
