Decorative timber products supplier Richard Burbidge says sales of its Lifestyle engineered flooring system have grown 40% year-on-year.

The Oswestry-based company says the product’s success reflects a wider market trend towards engineered flooring which is backed up by independent research from AMA Research of Cheltenham.

Richard Burbidge’s flooring product manager Andrew Jones said: “The fact that Lifestyle is a glueless engineered system has also contributed to sales growth, as installers and consumers alike are looking for easy and convenient ways to achieve a professional, quality finish.”

Sales of Lifestyle grew by 5% during the last quarter, compared to the previous three months.
