More than 200 delegates have attended a Glasgow conference focusing on community woodlands.

The three-day event, organised by the Community Woodlands Association, brought together decision makers and representatives of more than 35 community woodland groups.

Delegates heard that woods can bring real social and economic benefits, including timber harvesting and growing willow for basket making. They also visited community projects and shared experiences of how to make the most out of urban woodlands and grow woodland coverage in Glasgow and the Clyde Valley.
