Finnforest will use its first-ever attendance of Glee Landscaping to launch a new range of products for the garden sector.

The new offerings, to be kept under wraps until the September 18-20 show, will address design oriented trends in the burgeoning garden market.

Warren Dudding, Finnforest’s marketing manager, said: “Glee is a brand we need to be associated with if the market is to take us seriously. It will provide us with an effective launch platform and a tangible opportunity to position ourselves, display and discuss our products.”

The company, which is taking a 285m2 stand at Glee, has been selling log cabins to independent merchants and multiples for the past four years in recognition that the garden is now perceived as an additional room for the home.

Enderby-based Direct Timber’s stand at Glee will be 40% bigger than last year as it seeks to target independent merchants and garden centres.

Other landscaping timber specialists attending the exhibition, to be held at Birmingham’s NEC, will include Forest Garden, Grange Fencing and Shire Garden Buildings.
