Arch Timber Protection has produced a step-by-step CD-ROM guide to building a timber deck with Tanalith E pressure-treated wood.
The guide, complete with commentary from Titch the black labrador, is designed to bring suppliers and installers up to date with the latest advice on designing and building decks.
The video, aimed primarily at the DIY market, details the building of a low-level domestic deck with a double-beamed, single-level platform over support posts on sloping ground. This includes planning, site preparation, assembling the sub-frame and fitting of handrails and deck boards.
