Boise Building Products has become sole supplier of engineered timber joists and associated products to housebuilder Westbury.
The Bicester-based manufacturer now supplies its BCI-Joist and Versa-Lam components, including the I-bloc solution.
Westbury group supply chain manager Martin Bevan said that although engineered timber joists were relatively new to the industry, their use had become widespread in recent years.
The company appointed Boise as its preferred supplier after a rigorous evaluation procedure.
Mr Bevan said: “Having the solus agreement provides Westbury with a much greater degree of certainty of supply. By dealing direct with Boise we have a direct working relationship with a manufacturer who fully understands our requirements and who is involved at every stage, from design to site delivery.”
