Timber frame manufacturer Benfield ATT plans to double turnover in 2005 to about £5m.

The Caldicott-based company is expanding its business in the north-west, west midlands and north Wales, as well as creating site services jobs around the UK and at its head office.

Benfield ATT has appointed Paul Davies to grow business in north Wales and the north-west, as well as oversee prestigious national projects. He is already in negotiations with a number of developers and architectural practices in the area.

Dr Michael Benfield, managing director of Benfield ATT, said the company is making provisions for the long-term development of timber frame construction on a local basis.

New jobs will include construction managers, site supervisors, carpenters and erection team leaders.
