A more powerful fibre insulation delivery system has been introduced by Excel Building Solutions to maximise thermal insulation levels and accelerate installation of its Warmcel product.
EbbwVale-based Excel says the system delivers 1.5 tonnes of Warmcel per hour, around three times that of the largest delivery method previously available.
The technology will be used by the company’s registered installers to insulate timber frame walls, floors and warm roofs, plus conventional lofts.
Excel says Warmcel, made from recycled newspaper, has a thermal conductivity value of only 0.036 W/mK.
