A slimline wall system based on a timber frame construction with brick cladding, developed by Natural Building Technologies (NBT), has achieved LANTAC (Local Authority National Type Approval Confederation) approval.
The system, known as NW2, uses Pavatherm woodfibre boards and exceeds the requirements of the latest Part L Building Regulation.
Fully vapour permeable, the system eliminates the need for vapour barriers or membranes without the risk of condensation or rot occurring.
According to NBT, the thermal and acoustic performance of the lightweight construction also matches or exceeds that of heavyweight materials.
