British Woodworking Federation (BWF) member RJ Parry Joinery of Deeside has gained Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes (PEFC) and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) chain of custody accreditation.

Rob Parry, founder of the Flintshire-based company, said: “We are committed to developing a culture in which protection of the environment is a common objective shared with clients, contractors, suppliers and the communities in which we operate.

“Offering certification enables us to reach a broader market and add to our ever-increasing product portfolio at a time when the demand for certification is increasing and policies, such as the government’s sustainable task force, put emphasis on the specification of minimum requirements from the design stage.”

Meanwhile, the BWF has produced the latest edition of its Specifiers Guide detailing all the products and services offered by its 500-plus members.
