The Institute of Wood Science (IWSc) has announced the latest line-up of speakers at its jubiliee conference on November 3.
Entitled “Wood – a modern material for a modern world”, the conference will include speakers from the world of architecture, construction and design.
RIBA Journal editor Amanda Baillieu, furniture designer and maker Luke Hughes, as well as the previously announced architectural professor Arturo Dell’Acqua Bellavitis and Dr Peter Bonfield, managing director of BRE Construction will be key contributors to the event.
Three case studies and a review of The Wood Awards winners in 2005 will complete the programme.
AHEC, Canada Wood and wood. for good are main sponsors of the conference which will be preceded by jubilee dinner at the Haberdashers’ Hall on the previous evening.
