Phil Dalton, who has worked at the Huddersfield factories of Decorative Panels for the past four years, has been promoted to commercial manager.
A larger team is being established under his direct control to co-ordinate the printed paper foil lamination and contract panel components manufacturing sides of the business and broaden the scope of customer services. Incoming costs and customer price estimating will both be targets for improvement, using new and better electronic systems and management.
Mr Dalton will also oversee the creation and development of a new level of interface between customers, Decorative Panels sales and the manufacturing shop floors and will establish a new focal point for all incoming sales enquiries.
