South-east merchant AW Champion Ltd has introduced verification systems to monitor its supplies of timber products.
A document outlining the company’s environmental policy has been produced which includes the environmental chain of custody certification for the Forest Stewardship Council and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes.
All Champion’s suppliers are also independently audited for the Timber Trade Federation and Forest Forever Responsible Purchasing Policy.
