The standard, which covers new building systems such as structural insulated panels and closed panel timber frame, will be unveiled at the Hilton Metropole Hotel at Birmingham NEC on April 24.
BRE has developed the standard at the request of insurers, mortgage lenders, regulators and manufacturers.
The organisation said LPS2020 would enable a step-change in the delivery of innovative building systems into the UK housebuilding sector.
