Roger Southee, managing director of flooring specialist Foresbec UK Ltd proclaimed this year’s Interbuild to be “the best yet”.
“We’re in an area which is full of innovative products and it’s good to see Interbuild becoming more European,” he said, adding that Foresbec products were generating huge interest from the Middle East.
“We’ve sold a lot of flooring in theory and we’re also imparting information – we’ve seen a lot of students on the stand, which is terrific,” said Mr Southee.
“The response from visitors has been 100% up on the last time we exhibited at Interbuild. We’ve seen people from many countries, including Japan, and the quality of visitors has been really good. We’ve seen a mixture of architects, self-build developers and distributors and they have all been impressed with our product.”
Among its show products, Foresbec was displaying its new range of brushed and oiled engineered flooring. This is designed for use with
underfloor heating.
The company plans to start selling its whole flooring system overseas. “We’ll offer the comfort of professional and technical support,” said Mr Southee.
