Specialist trusses in a range of sizes and configurations were used to build the roof of the hotel, golf and leisure complex, which includes a large conical roof mirroring the oast houses of the surrounding area.
Timber trusses were chosen for the project, currently under construction by Quadric Ltd, for their versatility and ability to create curved roof profiles.
Dover provided detailed design advice and support using its special software package.
