Under the new structure, the officers group will be known as the executive board and the title of BWF director Richard Lambert will change to chief executive.

The BWF said the move will bring the rules of the organisation up to date and in line with current common practice.

“The new corporate structure reflects more accurately the style and approach of the BWF – a modern, dynamic trade association committed to helping its members improve their sales and profitability through a wide range of services,” said Mr Lambert.
