The service, which includes complete project management, is intended to help housebuilders meet new regulations, overcome on-site skills shortages and complement build schedules.
“Attention to detail is becoming more critical than ever on site as build plans are becoming more complex and by offering this comprehensive service for the installation of windows and doorsets, we can minimise installation time on site and reduce the need for callbacks,” said JELD-WEN European marketing director Joanne Mitchell.
Ms Mitchell said the launch follows consultation with housebuilders.
The service includes a two-tier fitting, which involves initial installation and then a commissioning service five days before handover.
JELD-WEN’s cavity closer system is used to install all windows and ensure compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations.
