The installation brings the Bedfordshire-based company’s investments in moulding facilities to more than £700,000 in the past year. It also has a Weinig Powermat 1000 and another Unimat 3000.

The machines produce a range of standard and non-standard mouldings in North American and European temperate hardwoods.

Managing director David Howard said the company had reduced its machinery stable from about 11 to four machines to improve efficiency and quality.

Meanwhile, DW has also achieved Forest Stewardship Council, Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification and BM TRADA chain of custody certification.
