The dryer, a direct heated unit with a diameter of 4.6m and length of 24m, will be installed at Yingang Hebei Wood Industry Ltd in Zhengding, where a new particleboard plant will be constructed.
Delivery and construction is scheduled for the beginning of 2007, with the plant starting operation next summer.
Schenkmann, wholly owned by the Dieffenbacher Group, has commissioned almost 20 dryers and graders for the production of MDF/HDF during the past five years in China.
