The programme will offer an insight into the Dutch experience of timber in construction and architecture, and key applications for timber in the Netherlands and recent initiatives taken there to grow markets will be addressed by Arie Mooiman, an engineer at Centrum Hout.
Speakers from the UK will include Robert Lambe, chairman of Operational Strategic Team and deputy managing director of the Birmingham office of Willmott Dixon, who will give the contractor’s view of timber.
Camilla Hair, who carries out public relations for SCA Timber Supply Ltd and is a member of The Timber Trade Federation‘s education, training and careers committee, will address the skills shortage in the UK.
