Taylor Made Joinery manufactured the front of the acoustic panels for the ceiling above the concert platforms from 18mm Medite FR MDF incorporating a Dufaylite resinated cardboard honeycomb. They were veneered in weathered sycamore.
Taylor Made used the CNC resources at its recently modernised Suffolk factory to create precisely curved reflectors by cutting relief grooves on the rear of the panels and finishing them with smooth bevelled edges.
In addition to the ceiling panels, Medite FR was also used as the substrate for a large number of veneered wall panels and leather-wrapped panels at the rear of the hall.
