The sales capped a good show for the company, which is now predicting a busy time for the next 12-18 months.
Partner Gerry Lynch said the quality of visitors was higher than two years ago.
“Serious people said they wanted to come and see us after the show to update their manufacturing,” said Mr Lynch. “We did not come here with any expectations, but even in the short term we are going to get good business from the show.”
As well as the Belgian-made Vertongen machines, the company displayed Artec Maschinen’s refurbished 40-year-old Hemag 7 spindle machine with a Hemag 6 roller feed unit.
