Production of Eurolight, which combines a lightweight honeycomb centre sandwiched between slim high-density boards, is aimed at the furniture construction and interior fittings sectors.
Egger‘s St Johann plant in Austria has a Eurolight daily capacity of 1,000m3.
“The technical challenges posed by the pioneering construction methods were overcome in record time and we believe the large-scale production of lightweight board will transform the use of products within both the furniture and fittings markets,” said Michael Egger.
