The Hoffman dovetail jointing system is being used by Somerset kitchen and bedroom furniture manufacturer Robert Charles to produce face frames for its designs.
Frame perimeter joints are made by routing out the key way for the dovetail Hoffman key on a bench-mounted Hoffman MU2 router, while other joints for the rails and stiles are cut out as haunched joints on a Mørso guillotine and then routed out.
