The deal is between 1867 Confederation Log Homes of Ontario and Sunnyside Homes in the UK and covers a 35-acre site near Newquay. Building is to begin next year for first viewings in September.
A spokesperson for the Canadian company said it was the largest development it had yet undertaken.
Canadian high commissioner James Wright said he hoped the agreement would open the door for future projects.
