Treatment Services Ltd’s (TSL) competition, now entering its closing stages, offers a weekend away prize for two as the prize.
TSL’s operations director Janet Collins said companies across the country were contacting local newspapers and searching company archives for photographic evidence as proof of the age of their machinery. Others have an easier task, as information is often printed on a plate on machines.
However, she said many of the older plants have still yet to be entered.
“Imagine the frustration of a plant operator when the winning plant is only 10 years old,” she said. “But as the National Lottery quite rightly says, you have to be in it to win it.”
A date and a photo of the treatment plant is required to enter, with entries to be received by January 27.
