The acquisition provides Rosewood, which manufactures a wide range of timber packaging, with an increased range of services and wider customer base.

Alexander Box employs 39 staff and will continue to be led by the current management team.

Rosewood’s timber packaging is used to provide in-transit and storage protection for a variety of products from single CDs to 15m-long electricity transformers. Its range includes timber packing cases and crates, plywood and other sheet material based cases, u-frames and bespoke timber packaging.

The latest acquisition forms part of Rosewood’s long-term strategy for business growth in the UK. The company has increased staff from 50 to 120 in the past two years.
