The Stirling-based company – one of 10 companies that make up the Robertson Group – has signed a supply deal with Woodbridge Timber.

The Suffolk-based timber trader will now supply Robertson Timberkit with CLS, a core product in the manufacture of timber frame buildings.

The company’s chief executive, Ron Easton, believes the agreement with Woodbridge is another step to securing the company’s supply chain network – and further strengthens its position in an already competitive timber frame market.

“The decision to source CLS from Woodbridge Timber followed a rigorous procurement processs and represents a major step forward in ensuring the continuity of future supplies of one of our core products,” said Mr Easton.

He said Woodbridge had been successful because of its ability to “consistently supply a quality product” backed by its “excellent delivery service and flexible, professional approach”.

Sales director of Woodbridge Timber, Brian McVeigh, said the company was “delighted” to win the business.

“Our supply of CLS will reflect our commitment to the growing timber frame business,” he said.
