Forests have been certified by one or more of the following schemes – the Canadian Standards Association (CSA), Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI).
The annual allowable cut on the certified area amounts to 102,890,259m3.
CSA certified area totals 73.4 million ha, while 31.5 million ha comes under SFI and FSC has 19.6 million ha.
