The UK-based firm said its product had been well received but companies in Britain and Europe needed lower throughput, lower cost entry-level machines to apply Postsaver to products such as fencing.

Jean-Claude Bergot, Postsaver’s international business manager, said the product had been successful in a number of market segments in North America. But he said the large scale production of Postsaver products in the US was not suited to the European market.

Postsaver designers have created a smaller application machine, which will be launched on the market in the coming weeks.

Mr Bergot said fencing and landscaping companies, as well as merchants. were being targeted in a new marketing push.
