The unit was clad in sustainable Siberian larch to ensure it was in keeping with other timbers used in Camborne Park, and to enhance its rural appearance and feel, the company said.

“This was a totally unique design and involved the sourcing of sustainable timber as an alternative material to meet Kerrier District Council’s needs,” said Bradco contracts manager Alan Penn.

The building is a unisex facility with stainless steel WC, sink and accessories and features for the disabled. Council spokesperson Stuart Wallace said: “Bradco offered the whole package from design and build to installation. The unit is robust and vandal resistant. It has stimulated much interest from other councils.”
