Visitors to the UKTFA‘s stand will be able to take the “timber test” to reveal interesting and surprising facts and figures about timber frame, as well as testing their knowledge on the carbon credentials of timber frame construction.

The association has also pledged to make its stand carbon neutral, offsetting the impact on its stand construction, as well as its transport to the exhibition. Timber will be Forest Stewardship Council certified.

The UKTFA will also chair free seminars on timber technology and offsite construction at the show, which takes place on February 27-March 1 at Earls Court 2.

“Futurebuild is an important exhibition for us as it helps us to talk to the designers and developers who are clamouring for more information on how to use timber frame,” said Bryan Woodley, UKTFA chief executive.
