The Yorkshire-based company now has full membership of BM TRADA Certification Ltd’s Q-Mark schemes for enhanced security doors, enhanced security windows and timber windows.
It has also been awarded British Fenestration Rating Council B,C and D energy ratings for its Hawk and Kite 2000 window ranges by BM TRADA, with further ratings in progress for the Kestrel 2000.
Swift was one of the first manufacturers to achieve a Kitemark under BS 644/7950, but said it decided to convert to the Q-Mark scheme “because of the level of customer support provided by BM TRADA”.
The company uses laminated timber with Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes chain of custody certification.
