The contract was won following a successful £450,000 project which Oregon undertook for Miller Homes North East in County Durham. This included apartments, three-storey townhouses and four bedroom detached villas.

“In our experience, once a developer has tried timber frame construction, the benefit, such as ease of erection, speed of construction, and an excellent profile, become apparent and there is a willingness to commit to further use of timber frame,” said Rod Lawson, Oregon director.
