BSW has invested more than £2m in the site since it opened in 1999 and now produces 22,000m3 of roundwood and 17,000m3 of sawn timber every year.
Ms Moffat backed BSW’s role in the Wood for Gold campaign to promote wood in the construction of the London Olympics. “I hope BSW Timber‘s first-class facilities and expertise can put East Lothian at the heart of the Olympic Games in 2012.”
