The company has designed and manufactured roof trusses for numerous new build and refurbishment projects for the public and private sectors at its purpose-built factory.
The trusses are supplied pre-fabricated spanning up to 16m with individual sections up to 4.2m high produced using the Gang-Nail system. David Smith also makes staircases, door and doorsets and TJI joists.
The new Hatton Park Primary School project at Longstanton, comprises classrooms, hall, library, kitchen, stores and offices.
Sales director Jeremy English said: “We feel that our product and service offering, which includes on-site technical advice, helped us to secure the project and we were thrilled to supply our roof trusses.”
