Based in Leicester, IMA (Kleesmann) UK Ltd is picking up sales agencies of the old Savecrest Machines business. Founding directors of IMA (Kleesmann), Ashley Cooper and Andy Howells, were previously Savecrest’s sales team, and have added service engineersBill Chalresworth and John Scullion.
Sale and service agencies represented include IMA Kleesmann, IMA Meisnert, Wemhöner Pressen and Process FAM.
“We know the products inside out, as well as knowing how highly the technology is regarded here,” said Mr Cooper.
“The engineers have toured the country for many years, as we have ourselves, servicing a large portfolio of machines by a wide range of manufacturers on British floors – so there will be no loss of focus there either.”
Mr Howells said the new business would bring continuity to many British and Irish manufacturers, as well as “some new incentives to get our teeth into”.
